Beyond Consequences Parent Training Series, September, 2014

Based on the parenting model developed by Heather Forbes, LCSW, in her best selling book, Beyond Consequences, Logic and Control.  This  five week course is designed to assist parents of children who have experienced trauma and loss teach their children self regulation skills and to be more cooperative.  Classes begin in September, 2014.  See brochure for registration information. 

Participants wanted for Research Study.

Are you interested in birth (non-adopted) and adopted sibling relationships?  A local research study is seeking adult birth (non-adopted)/adopted sibling pairs in which the adopted person came into the family under 2 years of age.  Participants must be 20-40 years of age now.  If interested, please contact Claire Madden at maddenc@bc.edu or 617-997-5906.

Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) is a comprehensive training for professionals in the social work, mental health, and child welfare fields.
